Balanced Scorecard

This customizable program allows the user to choose measurements from a hierarchy and graphically display information accordingly. Executive Information System
To satisfy the diverse data needs of senior executives of a large state education association, Lux Industries created a customizable Executive Information System (EIS). When using this multi-functional flexible system, users were able to access and compile data from different sources across the organization and then customize it using the metrics of their choice. The executive level decision-making process by function was greatly improved with this sophisticated data retrieval and presentation tool.
 

Strategic Enterprise Plan
Information technology savvy combined with industry domain expertise enabled Lux Industries, LLC to develop a five-year Strategic IT Enterprise Plan for a large state education association. Lux was instrumental in formulating recommendations for future migrations and enhancements to the current enterprise architecture. Now, the client is more forward thinking and responsive to technological and industry-related events.

Travel Related Online Search Engine
A large association representing the U.S. travel industry wanted to create a searchable database of travel related links.  However, to manage the cost of managing the site, the association wanted its members to be able to manage their own information through a web-based interface.  Our solution was to build three complimentary interfaces: one for consumers, one for association members, and a third for administrators.  The site is today one of the premier online travel sites.

Association Membership
By creating a compatible membership system between a state association and its national parent organization, Lux Industries facilitated the flow of internal communication. User friendliness and easy navigation were also mission-critical. According to users, the application does not require advanced technical skills, thereby enabling them to focus on their core job responsibilities while expediting the data search process.
 

Automated Document Conversion
Lux Industries’ automated file transformation program drastically reduced the labor and time needed by the client to convert HTML documents for Section 508 accessibility requirements. Robust enough to handle all levels of HTML use and correctness, this system converted over 25,000 HTML documents.
